The course is a profile discipline for III year students majoring in Linguistics (English Language). It thus endeavors to incorporate all the necessary skills and abilities for upper-intermediate level students. The main aim is to expand their both passive and active skills and deepen their knowledge of the English language. Alongside with the main textbook there are many additional materials provided. By the end of the academic year the students are to achieve a proficiency level of C1.
